and since im going brushless i have to get a new receiver, will i be able to use a

AM Receiver with 3-Wire Connector: Micro (LOSB0809) or will that get fried?

Dude I hear terrible things about the 3 wire AM receiver when mixed with a brushless system. You can do better with Hitec 3 wire micro servo. Go 2.4 ghz if possible on the tx/rx. Check out the cheapo setup at HobbyKing. The receiver is tiny and will fit the Micro-T if you take it out of the case. You can also get into brushless WAYYY cheaper than using that Losi system. Check out microtforum.com. Those dudes over there have it dialed.
