Joey ur right this motor works so well in the RC8B..And don't hesitate to run it in a RC8T.
I TQ'ed in Expert Arena Truck this weekend at my track, turning a 10/5:31.312 (Rnd 1) everyone else was running 9 laps.

has anyone ever tried the picco plugs in the B5? the ones i use in my jammin engine lasted up to the 5 gallon mark. even after break in. if not is the 97t best? thats what everyone seems to be running.

Quad, no one that I know of has used the Picco plugs but if you are looking for an alternative to the OD 97T try giving one of our TLP5BT, these are special plugs that we make for off-road use and most people get several gallons out of one also!

Ron how are those compared to the OS P3?

So I have a tunning question. had to reset the carb back to flush on lsn and hsn. set air gap to approx .7 mm. primed and started it up. idle was high. so i richened it up a cpl hrs, blipped the throttle a cpl times still high repeated process now idle is ok. I put it on the track run 4 laps and temp eng at 210. but idle is high. stayes there approx 10-15 sec then drops down but now seems to be a loaded up type of idle. didnt get a chance to do much more had to haul arse into work (almost late) I am assuming it is still a little lean on the bottom hence the high idle. correct?

Have to second that on the werks plugs,
They have GOT to be one of the, if not THE most durable plugs out.
I've broke engines in and went CASE after CASE of fuel and no trouble.
I use the 5 now but want to play around more with the six, its even more durable!

hmm thats a good set-up, the setting s just seem a tick lean..
I would say go back to basics but the idle gap is correct, so as long as its blowing blue smoke and holding a tune, id say let it eat!!!!
needle setting are tough to compare anyway, IMO blue smoke is the most important thing.
I know Werks fuel uses a higher quality fuel allowing you to lean the motor a little more.
