Yeah hobbyking and the hong kong post seem very slow these days. It used to take me less than a week to get my stuff from hobbyking but they are taking like a week to process orders and the post office is taking like another week to send it out. I know hobbyking just moved to a new larger warehouse and that is why their processing is slow right now. If it means more stuff in stock I'm not complaining.

Agreed. I'll probably be ordering my 3s LiPo from them before summer, so I'll hope for quicker shipping then. That and I'll pay the extra $6 and go for EMS Express (3-6 day or something).

So, in other words, if I wanted to use a 1/8 scale 6S max ESC on a Castle 4600kv and run 4S it won't hurt it?

Back from the dead!!!!

You know what was never discussed in this thread... the type of car he had this setup in. The weight/driveline of the car plays a big factor in what kind of battery you can run. For example a sidewinder with the 4600kv motor is only rated to 2s in your average short course truck. 4x4 1/10th scale short course trucks are too heavy for the sidewinder to handle 3s for more than a couple minutes. On a hot day you will get overheat cutoff in less than 5 minutes of hard off road racing or bashing.
