I'm headed down there this weekend and was wondering if there are any good size hobby shops there. Specifically one that carries some 1/18th stuff besides Mini T's, Desert buggies, and XTM.

High Speed Hobbies just north of Kannapolis (NE of Charlotte) carries a good stock of 1/18th parts as well as an excellent stock of MiniZ parts. They carry lots of larger scale electric and nitro on and offroad parts too. They have an indoor RCP track with a competitive racing scene for the Mini Zs.
