Default Tekin redline on mmpro smartsense problem

I was having trouble figuring out why my tekin redline 6.5 (6800kv) was only hitting 40000rpm in smart-sense mode on 8.4v so I tried sensored only mode and it hits about 52000rpm with cheat at 15%. Is this a problem with the firmware (I'm on 1.25) a characteristic of the redline motors (not running sensorless or something) or an issue specific to my esc?

Interesting. I didn't test it full sensorless mode. I'll have to try that and see what happens.

I'm going to test some of my other sensored motors on it this week and see if they have the same issue. If they do I know it's caused by my esc. Are you using an mmpro too or other esc?

It did the same thing with an lrp motor so I'm pretty sure
it's the esc causing it. Which firmware are you using? I'm on 1.25. I'm going to see if another version of firmware will work. I'm going to email castle tonight too.
