The New Werks B5 .21 Racing Engine
#2702
Mines a PITA to start. Runs good after being a pita to start though. got 5 tanks through it. Gonna do one more then hit the track tomorrow. Trying to get the high idle low and smoooth. it's getting there, has lotta power though.

I can not compare for truggy as this is my first truggy.
Last season in buggy I ran a Vspec then switched to the B5.
I ran the 2035 on both engines in buggy, the b5 had more power through out the entire rpm range and got better economy.

TYpically I can see about 1 minute more runtime with the 2057. As the other guys were saying a lot of runtime is how you drive in your track conditions. I do not limit my throttle and I use the stock restrictor. BUt if you havent mastered your throttle control yet the limiting your throttle, smaller restrictor and 2057 pipe. In a sense helps do it for you. The 2057 does get better mileage, but a lot of it also it is that is is smoother on the bottom making it more forgiving to throttle burst's, keeping wheel spin down making for better runtime and less wasted fuel and traction.
But Still I will switch pipes depending what I want, and the conditions. I can not say that the 2013 or 2057 is better than the other. They are both great pipes and they completly transform the power band of the WERKS engines, so you can pick the feel you want which is a very nice option.

so I had a runaway with my b5.. thankfully I had about 10 tanks on it and it didnt pop.. but it sure did make me soil myself... it was wailing at full rpms for about 10 secs.. but I will say this thing held up and still has pinch in the sleeve.. but I def accelerated the breakin process and hopefully i didnt accelerate its wear life

Quick update from the JBRL race in SoCal now that quals are done. Kortz with a box stock B5 is sitting in the 4th spot right behind Truhe. All the big names are there so this is going to be a tough one tomorrow!

i think the race is done... with Cody King taking the win... he won with a 1 pit stop strategy... if Kortz had done that he would of won himself.. he had the lead.. but after his pit stop at 7:30... it was a wrap

Went to the medina season opener with over 100 entries for the first outdoor race of the season made for a great time. Got the TQ and win in pro buggy after finally being able to turn some needles!!! Motor ran awesome and sounded even better with the 2013 combo.
Had it going about 210 and pitted at 10 minutes due to loosing track of time.lol
Sucks about Kortz the thing that sucks is jeremy will be able to run his engine again and I doubt cody can! Lol

hahahahahaha... i got you.....Kortz looked really fast.. his H9 to me was teh fastest through the washboard section.... after the pit stop it was a wrap... if he had gone 10min... i think he had the victory.. he drives that thing hard ... corner speed was ridiculous....
