Default axe 25 cobra

my name is luke stevens I just built a 8T 2.0, and put a 25 cobra in it. I ran a gallon through it and slowly leaned it out to a race toon. I have 6 tanks on the tune and have problems keeping the toon. Then it would not start and was takeing out plugs. I took the back cover off and the con rod bushing came apart and went through the motor. It is brand new. Have you herd of this? Will axe do anything for waranty. If you would be ok if I contacted you I would like to talk to you buy part and possibly another motor, and how to get cold fusion fuel. I would like to try it. I am running byron. Thanks Cris

I have a .25 and x1 cobra. The conrod bushing is a very common fault with the motor. I had the same issue at the 5 litre mark but axe came to the party with a warranty. The new motor had the upgraded rod and has done about 25 litres with no problems at all and the x1 has got 45 litres on it (the front bearing has just started leaking). They are a great motor and i think that i will replace the x1 with the x2 as soon as it dies, GO THE AXE.

This is actually the engine that Mark modded for me and like i said to him after running it this weekend WHOLLY CRAP!!! This engine is TRUELY the BEST engine i have ever owned or driven. The linear powerband is in my opinion unmatched and the mods Mark completed made the engine that much better!! Mark is a TRUE professional at his craft and i would suggest to ANYONE to use his services! For those who are looking for a truggy motor you have to try this one. TONS of grunt to get you out of the cornors first and enough top end to ensure you don't get passed down the straight and STILL DRIVEABLE. Imagine that!! The needle in the haystack has been found!!! Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

That number used to be for the RAL 3T 3 Port Buggy motor. Does it have a rather small greyish head??

Depending on the version they were a pretty good motor. If you got a later one the carburettors were unworkable.

Yep that is the motor. You can use parts from the Sport with that motor. The carburettor is useless, bottom end cannot be leaned out enough to work. Better to find a carb from the Sport or Speed engine.

I have an axe rossi mamba SG X 1

Could you give me the factory settings for the low and hi speed needle and I have found that the carb like to be open a lil more then most motors out there on the market also I am running byrons 30% nitro 11% lub could you tell me the propper shiming for this motor I have read that it is .020 with two shims but in order for me to occomplish this I need to run the three shims so do I run the three or keep the two.
