Just wanted to know what the best clutch spring tool out there is, and do not want to use a screwdriver had a cheap clutch tool that broke and want something that will last

The Losi one works good. The Racers Edge, and Duratrax tools are basically the same and are a bit cheaper. They all work good.

this is one of the best strongest clutch tools you can get ...im certain it works on 3 shoe as well as mitchs 4 shoe set ups ...it cant be beat

Dynamite makes a very simple one. Works very well. I used to use it when I ran 3 shoe setups.

The plastic Duratrax / Losi clutch tool can break easily, although I know some folks who have had really good luck with them. I bought this Dynamite one a while back, and have removed / installed clutch shoes many times. Personally, I think it's much less cumbersome than the plastic hook-type tools, but that's just my opinion.

The M2C tool is based on the same principle, so it's really a matter of what fits your hand better. I like the larger diameter of the Dynamite tool, plus it's shorter, and fits in the drawer of my tool box better.

Yea I got a Losi one a while back.. and broke within the 1st 3 mins of use.. wasn't happy with it tbh...Plastic was very soft and snaps easily.

Thanks for all the help think I will go with the dynamite, as the first one I had was like the losi and broke the second use

Its night and day, now changing shoes or springs are no hassle at all

It can be done without, these tools just makes things easier.
I have been using the Sportwerks one since 2005 and been butter....just like the Dynamite one posted.

It can be done without the tool, but it is a major pain in the A$$. The tool is WELL worth the $15
