Default Novak GTB Vs Tekin RS

Hi,
I'm new to 1/10 ep and have joust bought a TRF416 and I'm looking for a new esc and motor and am trying to decide between:

Tekin RS and 10.5BL
or
Novak GTB and 10.5BL

Is one known to be better than the other? I ask as the Novak is cheaper and comes pre soldered and ready to go straight out of the pack. From the pics of the Tekin it looks like I will have to solder all the wires etc (Dont have a soldering iron).

Apart form that I cant see too much difference (besides the fan)

thanks in advance for any replies

If you are going to be doing any type of racing the Tekin is the way to go. If your just bashing the GTB will do fine.

Tekin all the way and you can upgrade firmware on the esc so you buy one and it lasts for long time. You buy gtb and in 6 months you will have to buy new one to keep up with the new stuff out there.

Tekin RS all the way. But you're really going to need a soldering iron for this hobby. You don't need a crazy expensive one. I got one of those $15 from home depot and it works great.
