oh yeah
Sears also has a green environmentally whatever compressor that goes on sale for cheap, and walmart has a cute little blue one for a good price that would work perfect in the apt...But really craftsman ones are good, if you get a little bigger tank it won't run so much, but the smaller ones will fit nice in an apt....and get that blue handled nozzle with the bent tube, it gets into the crevices of the car better.

The blue ones at Walmart are made by Campbell Hausfield and are actually good compressors. Ive had one for years and had no problems. If you are worried about noise, you may want to consider a portable air tank. That way you can air it up at a gas station and use it with no noise, a good charge of 120-130 psi would last awhile just cleaning cars. Or pick up some of the pressurized can of air for cleaning keyboards.

in my apt for small air use i can mostly get by with the air in a can used for computer parts. It can get spendy at $6 a can. unless you got an inside guy who gets you a case of 20 for $25. If you only need a few short bursts, get these. otherwise get one of the above sugestions.

cans are handy but do not produce enough p.s.i. for me.

This one is $56 at WalMart. A few locals use them as track compressors due to their low draw on a generator.

the cans of air are static free, and moisture free so they are much better for the computer
you can do whatever you want, but i had to throw that in here when i read your post

I am going to set mine up with a water trap and filter to airbrush with. All those items you can find at your local hardware store.
