I prefer the Manutech tray, about 110grams, offsets the pack in the rear more than the front to help offset the weight of the motor.

question for everyone... u can reverse the belts if a little machining to the chassis at the diff area was done, if thats done the 416 would be like the new xray t3 but what i really want to know if it would balance the car better for lipo. will it handle better is it more balanced etc.?

If you do this, you need to move your battery pack out, so yes it will balance the car better. Keep in mind the only thing you can move further in is the receiver, ESC and servo. And the servo will be a little tricky without making a custom outer mount.

Go to page 522 and you'll see another memeber's car that already has this done. This discussion has happened before...

BTW: You don't "need" to cut your chassis to swap the diffs around. You can run the diffs in the raised position and they will clear. This is good if you just want to give it a try to see how the car balances out...

Im pretty sure i sent a few replies to you.
I dont know where else to get them from, i got a small batch from a friend in Malaysia, see Stein Stubert, i understand he was looking to get them into europe.

The Demon tray is an engineering miracle, all except for 1 point, at the inside front of the tray fo some reason it is very thin, and in a big crash this can bend, i have seen a couple broken here.

If you really need a tray, i have 1 for sale, only thing it comes with a 416 WE

Awesome double for the 416X this weekend taking out both Snowbirds and ETS.

Looks like they found a setup for those shoes!!!

Hopefully some of the faster guys(or girl) from the birds will post some setups for Jaco blue tires.

In addition to the ETS win this weekend, Jilles managed to pull off the win at the Snowbirds as well.

Looks like the X is doing pretty well

Looking at the rear of the topdeck of MR's car (ETS picture Sunday), it looks like the topdeck is the old 416 (i.e. the old car)...check the distance between the screws at the rear...

Very well spotted Stein. Looks like the old WE-style rear bulkhead assembly with 1 screw in the rear bulkhead and 3 screws in the center pulley mount. Also seemed to be running old style front bulkheads with the chassis mounting points closer together.

Yep, that looks like WE bulkheads and topdeck. Battery position looks like it's back in the original/X position?

I noticed that half of his pictures contradict themselves. Half of them are of a black wire car, then the other half are of a blue wire car. I think he has a couple cars for different conditions.. Or something..
