The RTR noobs will come and go. And a few will step up into serious race cars that require years of expierence to do well. Onroad parking lot racing is set to make a comeback.

but the thing about on road touring. that is you need a good clean track to run your car. it's kinda frustrating to have your pulley, belt & spurs ruined by stones & pebbles. if your area has public/private rc speed track reasonably maintain. that is where you have many onroad activities.
