Default what's a cheap ESCs with reverse?

What is a decent and cheap ESC w/reverse out there? Trying to troubleshoot. Bought 2 Evader EXTs for the nieces at Xmas and recently upgraded to 2.4 ghz radios. Having probs with a hesitation now. Thx

what ESCs and radio TXs and RXs exactly do you have?

A cheap unit you could look into would be the Novak Havoc 2S ESCs that they sell refurbished for $60 each + shipping. These have the full novak warranty, can do brushless and brushed motors from what I can tell in the manual and have lipo cutoff built in.

+1 on the refurbed Havoc!

Also what radio did you upgrade to? I had that problem with my crawler and it was because the radio was working too fast for the esc, but I was able to send the radio in and get an update loaded that slowed down the frame rate so it would work with the slower esc.

The new radio is a DX3 2.4ghz. I may have found the problem...and it's rediculous haha. My sis gave me ther cars to look at and said the battery was good to go....and I took her word on it. For the hell of it, I decided to charge the batt ....initial tests in the house looked good. I'll find out this weekend...
