Default LRP Question

Tonight at the track a car with an LRP Sphere, 2 cell lipo and a Novak 13.5 SS started acting weird. Everything would be running fine then all the sudden, there was no throttle but the motor would run for about 2 seconds and half throttle then turn off for about a second then repeat the process again. It would do this over and over until you shut the power off. If you let it sit for a minute, it would run fine before it would start doing the same thing agin.

Anyone else ever have this problem? I know I can call tech support on Monday but was just curious if I could get an answer from someone who hopefully has had the same thing happen and maybe it's a simple fix.

Thanks.

When you say "clean sensor wire", what do you mean? Are you talking about the contacts in the plug? The radio is bound fine I think because the steering is normal.

The esc is the original lrp sphere I just found out. Is it possible when the setting profiles were changed that it was set to brushless? It's not my esc so it's not in front of me to check the profiles. Just trying to help a buddy who's frustrated.

Thanks for the advice.
