Hey everyone i searched this thread for my answer and learned some stuff but not really what i am looking for I am new to lipo just got a pulsar 3 charger and have a LRP sphere comp 07 with a 10.5 and a Mamba side winder with 5700 both will be run in a T4 and a Sc10 mostly just racing with friends for now plan to race in the spring I was looking into a 5200 2cell battery does this wsound about right ?

Sounds about right....I run my Slash (had it a yr Xmas) Sidewinder/5700 on a 2S 5000 30C hard case IB lipo.

Ya that would be a great pack. It will give you plenty of runtime to have fun with your buddies, but its not so large of a pack that it will adversely affect your handling for racing.

I like Zippy or Turnigy, they are cheap and have been great to me. The drawback is that they dont have much of a warranty at all. Some guys are more comfortable buying in the US since most companies here will back up their products.

I've had real good results with Neuenergy lipos as expected with a premium lipo. I've just bought my 1st Turnigys and in spite of having a prob (one cell was very low when received), it was easily enough overcome and they are turning out to be pretty good pacs. I'll be buying more.

Someone said in another forum the blue lipos hobbypartz is selling are same as zippy, turnigy's but he never responded how he knew this so I suspect its a 'net rumor. It would be good if it was since that could save you the S&H from HK.

you are going to get a thousand suggestions of what brand, but really it should come down to you and your budget and what you find available.
