it really depends on what kind of track your gonna run. ...for a fast track....I would get the Mielke pipe........for a short and technical track...I would get the Associated pipe.

Umm, did someone ask about pipes??

I've got this one mounted face down, but you may want to use a piece of strapping tape to secure the crystal. Wires are tie-wrapped and tucked away behind the receiver.

This one is mounted on it's side, shoe-gooed to the radio plate. The receiver is smaller than a Futaba PCM, so it takes up slightly less space.

Have you tried the front one-way?
#172
No I haven't but it was what I was thinking as well.
I am a bit worried about the brakes. We have a hairpin turn at the end of the straight. I might be able to try a friends one-way next week some time.

You can also try less toe-in in the rear.

I've solved my understeer problems. Here's what I changed.
40sh front 42sh rear tyres
#2 piston in front shocks
more caster -- one large clip behind arm
Seems to be a good set-up, can't wait till race day.

acs: Wow, that's some track! Where is this? Looks extremely fast. I think the one-way would work great for all those sweeping corners. Which springs are you using?

Yeah, that's a pretty tight hairpin after such a long straight. You might want to set your brakes fairly soft to avoid locking up the brakes when using a front oneway + rear gear diff. A front oneway + solid rear axle setup will allow you to apply harder brakes though.
The full layout looks really fun. I'm green with envy...wish we had a track like that in the US.
