Default novarossi sx12? stock settings?

Anyone know the stock needle settings?

havent ran my car in a while.. and the low speed seems to be out/too lean.

When i bleep the throttle, car starts revving off its nuts and takes a while to come back down.. Only happens after the car is warmed up though.

cant seem to find stock settings since the engine is so old.. so does anyone know a safe setting to start on to tune it.

I just checked the Novarossi website. Assuming you have the slide carb the factory needles are as follow:

High Speed Needle - 5 turns from closed
Low Speed Needle - 2.5 turns from closed
Idle RPM Needle - 0.6mm carb opening after removing venturi (whic this engine does not have)

Be careful when setting the low speed needle, if the carb has the "golden" needle on the opposite side you could move it while closing the low speed needle.

To prevent this, make sure you don't have your throttle barrel closed. Of course, all of this must be made with the engine off.

ta, ill check how far off my settings are from the factory and reset them.

The engine does have a venturi, and it also has a mid-speed needle, which i never touch.. only the low, high and idle i just set just high enough for it to start

start the car up, adjust the idle speed to wheels are not spinning, and then tune the HSN, LSN, and readjust the idle.

The mid-speed needle just make sure that it is flush with the housing.
Set everything to Novarossi stock setting mention earlier on by Riketsu!

*to take note: if u are setting ur idle base on ur wheels not spinning, then i think ur clutch are not set properly. If ur spring tension, clutch shoe to clutch bell gap is right, u will really need a v high idle to move the wheel. Therefore ensure u set ur clutch right then retune ur engine!

Just my 2 cents!!!!
