Airtronics M8 vs M11
#1
Is it worth getting an M8 with the Spektrum conversion or should I just find an M11? Will I really even notice the difference? Do they share the same housing? A friend has an M8 with the protective film still on the screen with the Spektrum conversion and receiver for $125. Is it worth it or should I spend a little more on the M11 with 2.4?
Thanks.
Thanks.

really depends on the shape of the unit. i find my trusty m8 just like an old glove (or girlfriend
), far simpler to adjust settings and has only the settings i want to use. my m11 i am finally starting to use more (arluck laugh away if u want) after 2yrs of sittin in the bag (how said is that, but its true?). springs on m8s do give out, they are replaceable but its down to the unit itself and how its cared for.
i think u'll find instead of makin a conversion (some homemade work) for a lipo in the m8 might steer u to the m11 which a lipo for can be had for 20bux online and plugs right in.

It's got very limited use on it so I think it'll be fine. Which springs give out, the trigger? I've been using a CS2P and my first pistol grip was an XL2P so for one, I'm partial to Airtronics and second, I like that low/forward wheel design like the M series radio's.
