Default lrp x12 6.5 question

i just recently purchased a x12 6.5 motor and was wondering one thing..after taking out my novak 7.5r and putting this one in it seems to make more noise while just sitting on the car stand when i spin the wheels foward.is this caused from being sintered with more friction? the novak i pulled seem to be more quiet than this one..it almost sounds like im stripping gears when i spin the drivetrain..is this normal? meshing is perfect as well...i havent put the car down on the ground to test it yet no speedo in car..and do i need to adj my sphere tc spec to this motor as well?

sorry for the whole paragraph but just want to get my point across lol

thanks

When i bought the x-12 6.5 i had the same thing happen to me. I think it is just the motor. It felt like there was more drag to the motor than the novak. I did not have to reset the speed control to run the lrp motor. I just changed a few setting to my liking. Other than that it ran good.
