Default need help on new carpet track

what is a good size for a 1/10 and 1/12 indoor carpet track the carpet will be crc carpet we are looking at 2 buildings the small one will have a 36 x 50 foot track the big one would be 32 x 65 or do i need bigger thanks this will be a non-profit track

If it's a case of either being okay for your budget, then go for the 32' by 65.' If you do a full back straight into a sweeper, that's a decent high speed section. And assuming 8' lanes, the remaining 24' of depth translates into an infield three lanes deep, which is just fine for your twisties.

We run a non-profit track out here in Seattle, and it's going great. Good luck.

99% of tracks are non-profit, whether by intent or not I think you can make do with it, but you will be cutting off a lot of that expensive carpet. The rolls are 12' wide and come in either 80' or 100' lengths. Also think about pit area...if the racers have to pit outside it kind of defeats the purpose of an indoor track.

no thats the track sizes pit area is 25 x 20

CRC has mini fast track in 6' x 60' rolls- you could do 30 x 60' with virtually no waste.
