Definitely use Tinkercad or (even better) Onshape (or something similar) instead of Bambu (or Orca or Prusa) since Bambu (et al) are NOT cad programs and are NOT in any way precise with holes, countersinks, etc. - it's what the program is designed for. It's a slicer. It can do some additional things as conveniences, but they're not precise. Use a CAD program, even a simple one like Tinkercad (which I really like and use a TON), for anything precise.

Good progress!

I know the limitations of Bambu as a slicer. Doing this has pushed me to learn some actual CAD type programs. I needed something to get my but in gear to learn them, so this worked.

Yep, I always need something to DO to learn a thing. (and wasn't criticizing, mostly agreeing or reinforcing . . . I've been doing 3d printing for nearly 10 years)

Been kinda busy......Chassis was printed and a few holes didn't line up (just barely off). I'm fixing that. Found out today the 41 pulley was 7.35 in thickness and the stock was 7.0. It's not an issue if you run diffs, but when I put the one-way in,......it won't fit correctly. So I corrected that and am ready to make a new one.

I have partially designed the diff and motor mounts as well. First designs gave me some changes I had to make since the front and back of the car are different widths and the pivot blocks are different as well. Hopefully by Monday I'll have a protoype car ready....maybe

I think I found a local library that will cut 1.5mm Aluminum for free as well. I need to confirm with them their laser can cut that thick. They won't do Carbon Fiber though.....say it's dangerous
