Truggy+Motor/Servo Opinion and ????
I am curently running the old classic Dynamite 427 in my Mugen MBX5t and I am looking to throw that thing in my box and run it only at a few club races or as a backup...
I need info on Truggy Motors with plenty if punch and good fuel Mil....etc
I was running a HiTec HS-5985MG and I thought it worked great for steering. It broke some gears unfortunately it was getting old....anyhow I'm looking for a good steering servo also...
Open to suggestions,link, info, etc

Being since the MBXT5 is a little on the heavy side, I would probley go with a Ninja - JX .21 or the new OS .25 when it come out..... I personlly like the OS Vspec but I think your truggy is alittle to heavy to get the most out of it.....
I would go with Hitec 7950/7940 HV servos....... I recently picked so up and it felt good not to have to think about your servos going out in a race. They felt good.

I ran that same truck for a while. It is a boat anchor to say the least compared to the newer truggies. However a plain old v-spec could still make it down the straight or off a turn as fast as anyone else. And if you wana go crazy the ninja is all that truck will ever need.
And you cant go wrong with a jr9000t or 9100t in that truck for steering

I like the titanium gear idea in the Hitec...
The Mugen isn't that much heavier than a RC8t , I have a friend and there is about 3 tenths difference I do believe they are heavier than the 2.0 and the MBX6t....but as far as handling goes I can't ask for a better truck a 427 is shooting it out of the corners...
I'm glad the P5 was mentioned I was thinking about getting that with the turbo head.....although a Trinity motor had crossed my mind
thanks more info and waiting

It's been announced on a few websites. They are testing it right now I believe but it's close to production.
The Mugen Ninja JX21 is a great engine. Kinda half way between a V Spec and a Speed. The run strong, powerful, and great on mileage. Better mileage will only be in your trigger finger.
Another engine to consider is the Reedy engine. Stupid bottom, yet not super hard hitting. It just doesn't stop pulling. And it's getting good runtimes as well. In Buggy I was normally pitting at 7:30-8 minutes. In truggy I might have gone 9-10 minutes with it. It will be in both my buggy and my truggy next season.

I've decided that for a servo I'm going with the Hitec 7955 Titanium Geared..
Now for a motor I want more info on a P5 turbo edition....will it have what I need?

I agree 7955 is the best choice !
As for engine in a MBX5T I really like the Picco engines.... I find the Picco's have more power then any of the other .21's and work extremely well in the 5T.....I have a modified Picco 21 in a 5T and it runs slightly faster then a modded Ninja JX in a MBX6 Buggy..... The Picco has amazing bottom end , amazing mid and a screaming top end..... IMO they are the most impressive of the .21 engines, especially when they are modified....
