AE Racer- At LIR and on the BK2 you should gear the element at 23/78

Default KE2

James,
what impressions do you get from the KE2 and do you think it will be a step up from the KE?

Im currently building mine now, and the only complaints I have are that they double printed the graphite label and losi symbol on the front bulkhead (the only part that it would be noticeable on ) so it looks pretty bad and that the front plate (to lazy to check name) didnt fit as perfectly as Id like even after many trys to line it up properly. The button head screws on the front shock tower also strip very easily, even with good hex drivers, I stripped one and had to cut down an AE screw to replace it.

scottbaer- The BK2 is a big step up from the "older" KE. One of the noticeable changes is the new tranny, its so much more punchier now. It launches out of those corners. The new positions on the arms are a big part of the new car too, you can easily make it super stable and smoother, from a really aggreasive car. Overall the BK2 is a great car.

I have a question about losi shocks. On my shocks the rebound is the same but the amount each shock pulls in from when its fully extended differs by about 2mm. Does the amount it pulls in have any effect on performance? This dosnt happen with my AE shocks so I dont know. These shocks are such a breeze to build compared to AE shocks.

A warning to anybody whos building one, dont over tighten the screws on the tranny case. Im not sure if it came this way but theres a tiny crack on one of the sides of my tranny case. Its just a tiny line though, and theres no opening at all so I think its fine.
