Default What is this circuit for?

Hi!
I´ve found this circuit: (sorry I´m new and not allowed to post a direct link to any site)

Go to automotivedesignline.com and search there for :

"Analog circuit enforces slow servo response, sets other servo parameters"

What is this for?
At the input you inject the standard 1-2ms signal from a receiver:
Is the output a straight connection to a standard RC servo?
If so, what happens with my EPA values in my transmitter, considering this circuit has adjustable endpoints?
Thanks for your help

Without sitting down and taking an hour to analyze this circuit, it looks like it's just taking a normal servo input and conditioning it with endpoints. The 555 monostable multivibrator chip is a very common timing chip used in engineering projects and robots. There are multiple variable resistors used to control the endpoints, VR2, and VR3. I am not sure what VR1 does but it looks like it decreases the amplitude of the source signal before it gets fed into the endpoint resistors and the 555 timing chip.

Again, I'd really have to sit down with this circuit to properly analyze it, so don't take what I'm saying as gospel. Best would be to contact the author.

THANKS FOR YOUR HELP segmentfault
tHE CIRCUIT WOULD BE PERFECT FOR ME IF I COULD GET RID OF EVERYTHING
BUT THE EPA ADJUSTMENTS, SINCE i NEED TO SET THEM IN A MORE ANALOG WAY WITH POTS AS THIS CIRCUIT DOES.
iF ANYONE KNOWS HOW TO DO THIS, OR KNOW ANOTHER CIRCUIT WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.
