back on topic...my MG66 rocks!

We still have a bit of work to do, but it's coming along nicely

Finally had a good long race meet to really test my MG66 baby out. VERY happy. I believe I have it close to a good race tune, could push it a bit more, but will do that when I change the bearings & rod.
This motor has sooo much power. Every drag race down the front straight, it pulled away from the cars around it, or made ground on the ones ahead. Some it ate up, others nibbled, but was quicker than all the cars I had the opportunity to drag race, & I'm using a 6.5mm restrictor!
Should be interesting to see how see goes once the new ceramic bearings, rod & a proper race tune are done..... mmmmmmmmmmm
I'm running the motor on Amain C2 Blue Dot. Don't know if it's the motor, fuel or combination of both, but I have not had one flame out since I started running the motor & fuel!!!!! NOT ONE!!! I've put around 5 to 6 litres through her. I'm using a RB6 plug, change it on the weekend before the finals to be safe & it still looked like new, it's been in there for a least 3 to 4 litres.
Now with the new Losi 8ight T 2.0, all I have to do is learn to drive, & take advantage of these phenomenal products.............
Very Happy!
Pete.

I think it's the A-Main fuel with the hi-tech synthetic oil. I am the same. The internals in my motors when you pop off the backplate are pristene. Same deal with the plugs - take the plug out at the end of a meeting to after-run the motor, and it's like a new plug straight out of the packet. Makes more power, and the thing will sit there and idle all day - and still take off with minimal hesitation even after a couple of minutes. Using medium plugs too. O'Donnell 77T or RB #6, depends which one is cheapest at the time. Going to start running the new GO T4 medium plug soon and see how that goes.
