Remember a few pages back when I was asking about "other" front wheel drive minis? This is exactly the kind of thing I was talking about!

What is it? Where can I get one? Do they have a website? That is so darn cool!

What's the actual name of that thing? I tried looking up Xevo +RC +mini etc and couldn't find anything on the web about it.

For Mini drivers who race in series or clubs that permit full race silver can motors, we will be completing a production run of Red Dot motors this weekend for shipment Monday the 21st.

These are the most potent and consistent legal silver can motors available to the general racing community & our race results prove it!

Interested parties should shoot me an e-mail at [email protected] for full details on prices and shipping (yes, we ship worldwide!).

funny you should mention the latest batch of 'red dot' motors A race I'm heading to in Oct is SPECIFICALLY outlawing your motors

what a bummer, I know how good you and your motors are

This is the exact reason why We went to the Hobbywing BL system for the Mini ... everyone has the same system and no bought advantage ... basically the best racer wins ... not the person with the deepest pockets

yeah, but the TSC doesn't allow for BL in the mini class...and if you can actually find a track that runs them regularly, then they all follow the TSC rules...

Like I said, "...for Mini drivers who race in series or clubs that permit full race silver can motors...".

I'm aware of the October race you mention.

Cannon, things are...different here. I might also mention that a Red Dot costs about the same as two box stock motors plus either tax or shipping. Considering that it is unlikely that either of the two box stock motors one might purchase would come anywhere close to Red Dot performance, my customers feel that they are quite a bargain.

Having said that, I am familiar with the HW system...and like it a lot.

Looks like Tamiya is finally releasing a replacement for the venerable TEU-101BK. Their new speedy is the TEU-104BK. Specs are a little better than the 101, plus it has battery cut-off. Very cool!

It appears that's it first "official" release is with the new Abarth mini kit that's coming out, but it's also available separately through vendors.

after so many years we revert back to the old FF01 design... Which I think made lots of sense back then. It was a good chassis.
