Default RC18 With VXL 380 Motor From Mini E Revo

Here is my RC18 with a 380 VXL Motor...
I made a 380 Motor mount that bolts on to the chassis.
There were two easy modifications I had to do to the chassis
First drill the holes to bolt in the 380 VXL RC18 Motor mount.
Then cut the upper chassis to fit the motor..

looks good....
what size spur gear/pinion will you need for the 540 to work???

The weight Bias will be tremendous......

Not sure yet.. I made it so you can adjust the distance of the motor to spur gear... Once Im done doing a video of the 380 rc18 I'll pop the 540 in. And post the pinion gear size.

Ok got done shooting the video of my RC18 VXL 380 ... Should have them up by this week..
Check out these pics... I decided to keep the RC18R body..... Simply because thats how she started..
Now she is so much more...

wow....i've driven a mini revo so i know how powerful they are even on a single nimh battery. those plastic (looks like) diffs gonna take that kind of punishment? anyways that's pretty sweet!!
