Default Brushless Summit Questions

Hey guys i have a question for anyone that can help. I just picked up a Traxxas Summit and was thinking about putting a brushless setup in it. My question is do i lose the ability to rock crawl with it? I know that many brushless motors suffer from cogging at real low speeds which would make it unable to rock crawl. I dont want to lose that ability, i just want more top end!

the additional torque would be in your favor

tekin rx8 for smoother low end

or castle 2200kv for sensorless

Sensored setups allow for low rpm's with no cogging. They might get hot depending on how long you crawl for. I had a Novak 6.5 HV setup in a buggy and was great at low speeds, It would also give you the top end your looking for as well.

Default brushless

AS long as you crawl in low gear with a decent gear ratio like 68\19. The mamba monster combo will crawl , just remember it is not a competition cawler. More of a trail runner.
