No offence intended by this question….but, told by who?
If we look back at the postings on the other D2 thread,
http://www.rctech.net/forum/electric...2wd-buggy.html
it is littered with "....I was told 2 months time...", "....I was told Spring...", "...I was told early June...." etc etc. It seems to me that there are a lot of people being told a lot of different things...
Personally, I thought the writing was on the wall for this buggy once Skelding was taken off the project. See my thoughts on page 16 of the above thread link, when I suggested that the buggy might not get released and most people disagreed with my opinion.
All that said, I really do hope Hot Bodies can get this project completed, it is a rather obvious gap in their range of buggies.

My hopes were momentarily raised of a release of the D2 when I saw they were releasing 2WD buggy fronts.
The moment was short lived though...

Here for the non believers. Straight from the horses mouth... this is what was emailed back to me when i ask!!!
HB-Ve 8 (D8 Flux) will hit market September 2009.
Ve8 setup is very close to HB-D8.
I am sure you will enjoy driving it.
HB-D2 will be late 2010 (not completely sure yet).
Thanks
