Watching sunrise and they just said that the stig is coming to Aus. And he will be taking part in the V8 Supercars @ phillip island and Bathurst.

If that is true it will be even better to watch than normal. Who knows if it will actually happen.

If that is true, then you guys should mob him and pull off his helmet to see who it is, lol.

According to the Auto Action, It's Ben Collins that's coming down under. And he'll be pairing with Nathan Pretty in the #15 Jack Daniels Car

So why did they say the stig? thought it might be a load of crap..... still it would be pretty cool if the stig did come and race, all in white lol.

If it is true, and my theory is correct, it could end up with three Stigs in the race. Pommy Stig vs Aussie Stig series 1 vs Aussie Stig series two

My opinion is that Series 1 was Jason Bargwanna and series 2 is Mark Skaife (skaify has a very different driving style to anyone i've seen, except for the Stig)

Huh, well i dont actually try and look up who the stig is i never really wanted to know kinda ruins that part of the show...... guess i know now lol.

Still would be cool if he raced as the stig.

Micheal Schumacher was the stig at one stage

I know a guy that work in a hanger near to where they filmed the first aussie series at camden airport, I was told the stig was actually two people, that the Bates brothers shared that role in the show.

Kind of. Rick Bates does the 'celeb' training for their hot lap, while Neal Bates does the Stig lap. And it's always been like that in TG Oz.
