I don't know, most distributors have them on backorder, and I haven't checked in the last couple deliveries. I'll have to check the wall when I get to the shop.

Just wondering if there is going to be racing tonight (Wednesday night) as we both planned to be there. Friday would be difficult for me as Friday is usually one of my busiest days and I get out pretty late.
I did note that Mark said Fri. instead of Sat. so I hope there's some turn out tonight.
Alan and I will be there, hope to see a few other racers. I'm bringing my 4wd buggy, 2wd buggy, and stadium truck (all Academy )

Bill Luongo
Its hard to say if we will be racing tonight, Wednesday have been slow lately.

For those of you running 4wd, especially the ZX5, how is your ride height??

Lower in the front, lower in the rear, all 4 corners level.

I was running my ZX5 lower in the front, with a sway bar in the rear, I had all the turning I needed, plus enough traction. that was two track layouts ago.

Since,
I've lowered the rear, changed the oil to 35wt front and 30wt rear, removed the sway bar, I have so so traction, and it's pushing off power in the turns.

I might try raising the rear end a bit more and moving the battery all the way forward, should that give me more steering??

Any suggestions

Mark is the man to ask, but I'll give it a shot.
Raising the rear should put more weight on the front and give you more steering.
I like running a lot of toe out to give me lots of steering but it tends to make the car twitchy and if the rear breaks loose because of poor traction the car will oversteer.
You could try to lose side bite in the rear to help the car rotate better but again you might end up with oversteer.
Try less rear camber, or move the shock out on the tower, or try a stiffer spring in the rear, or softer in the front.
The camber links still mystify me but I'm sure a 1mm spacer someplace would make the car dialed.

Anyone please correct me if I'm wrong.

How much corner exit steering do you need? More suspension travel in the front/less in the rear will give more corner exit steering. See attachment

Had a great time running last night even though there weren't that many people. Thanks again Mark and John. A couple observations.....

1) Track is getting pretty rutted....even for the big boys, but Soucy said he's allergic to fireworks and fun so he's gonna shape up the track this weekend. Thanks J-man.

2) The Mini Slash handles the track very well, especially with Vendetta tires/wheels......so much so that Mark is selling all of his 1/10s and going strictly 1/18th so bring out your minis!

3) My boogers are a lot less clay-like since there was no oval last night.

4) 3 Wambolts is 2 Wambolts too many! JK.....great to see ya'll back Tom and Zoe.
