Default grease question

howdy. i was just wondering what type of grease you use to grease the ring gear on the diffs of a savage. i was told this is to be used because its for high stress points like CV joints but im clueless.

thanks in advance.

I think this is whats in the Sav manual for R&P grease fwiw.

I just use good quality 1:1 axle brg grease, the downside is unless you need it for 1:1 useage, its a several lifetimes supply for RC.

I just used good old red or blue grease in a grease gun tube from tractor supply. you could go to Oreillys or auto zone and get a tub of black axle grease and use it. thats what I used when I had my savage
