Figured i would start a thread for the new track in North Vernon.
The track is located in the old "Eders Pro-Bowl" building.
Current Classes are:
Mod Truck
Stock Truck
Mod Late-Model
Stock Late-Model
Sportsman
Sprint
They also want to run a Touring Car class, but haven't had enough people show up with them for it to happen yet.
There is normally a pretty good turn out, probably anywhere from 35-50 racers on any given Saturday.
Practices are from 5pm to 10pm on Fridays
Doors open at 3pm on Saturday, with racing starting at 6-6:30.
Track is a hard, dry, clay. Rubber tires only, and the softer the better seems to be the case. Losi Pinks or Pro-line m3 compound is working well.
Currently the guy that runs it doesn't allow Brushless in any of the stock classes, or Lipo at all. Im working on trying to talk him into it.
The track is 100-120ft runline i would guess.
