Depending on what classes I will run......the grill might be a PITA, but some red beans and rice or some etoufee might be in order.
Are we allowed to bring BEvERages or is there a track rule against it. I know I've seen a certain "employee" sauntering to and fro with a yucky St. Pauly every so often, but I didn't want to be "that guy" who becomes the example.

If no, then just put it in a plastic cup

Hey Mark,
Will it be hard for you guys to offer the 10.5 4wd class for the trophy race also??
Being that the race is only a week away.
Or are you gonna leave the 10.5 class for after the trophy race??
Just wondering.

Long story short...
I shoot up to RCHR to practice tonight.
Slash has got me down. Getting tired of rolling the dice on replacement Titans...MooCow seems especially lethargic. I put it back in the pits.
I take out the VXL Rusty and I finally feel like its dialed and aside from a bent rear shock shaft (I bent it back after Ralph originally tweaked it last week lolz)
Feels good but still sloppy and I can't kick a rear traction in the turns problem.
Overall I kept feeling like I was driving and compensating for handling with my driving style. I enjoy driving them but I made a big mistake tonight...
I took a truck for a spin I really shouldn't have. Much like the virgin Ralph when he touched Mark's B44 for the first time...
Will's black SC10...
BIG MISTAKE!
I finish up his pack and immediatly I am hooked.
I attacked corners very aggressively with control.
The suspension made the truck seem VERY fast in the back straight and into and out of turns.
VERY nimble and surefooted. You really notice how light it is even if Will popped a SPEC brushless in it instead of a brushed motor.
Responsivenss is impressive!
Great in the air and predicatable.
Needless to say I did what I have to...I put down a deposit after running it for another packs worth of laps. I didn't flip, I didn't need to marshall myself and I was thoroughly impressed. You notice the low CG as soon as you get to the sweeper.
Soon i'll be the proud owner of the ProComp RCHR ordered and I am proud to support the shop!
MooCow and VXL Rusty are going up on fleabay. I am going to stick with my good punch lipo and the stock setup exactly out of the box. Fluids eventually but again...driving is believing. Others may disagree but this truck instantly made me a better driver. It really attacks corners and jumps with authority and I couldn't have been happier with it.
So I officially claimed the ProComp!
Will I can't thank you enough for being cool, letting me try your truck and not pressuring me to pick it up. Straight up guy...the reason I'll stick around here and continue my support. I was the only guy screwing around at the shop and he was cool as hell.

Ehh, so does that mean you can't run that in Spec Class...
Just messing,
Darn RCHR guys, they bait you into different classes by letting the customers test out their cars, Mark did the same to me with his b44 and I bought a 4wd, granted it was a used one, (I'm Poor), but I sure as heck have bought more than enough stuff from RCHR....
Hopefully I'll be buying a couple of Reedy packs, if they're still in stock....
Glad to hear you liked the SC10, any chance you might get into other classes?? have you driven any of the 4wd cars??

I'll hopefully be up there tomorrow from some much needed practice...

In all honesty I really love trucks/corr...when the smoke clears I would love to have a T4 Team to run mod truck along with this. That's all.
My fun with the Rsutler was instantly deflated when i realized it just doesn't handle turns well at all. Sad revelation of the day...

1/10 4WD isn't my thing.
