Yup it looks like your right, I think thats great, hey I may even get in 4wd.....Way to go Mark....what brushed motor would I have to run in order to be legal in that class if I decided to run it..

What makes you think we're going to have good drivers that race clean?

Why would you pit someone into a pipe? And, why would you expect them to not get mad about it?

So will it be a set gearing that everyone has to run? I know my DUO's need alot more gear than a LRP or a Novak to run good.

That I'm not sure about. Sounds like your going to have to ask mark on that. But I think this will be a good thing to allow more people into that class. Now it will just come down to the driver.... This is something I will have to think about...

Hey Mark,

How about just sticking with Holeshots or Double D's?

I ran pink taper pins on my B44 and they wore out in about 2 race days. The BK bars wore pretty good. When I ran the 10.5 in my B44 I tried dd's and the bk/taper combo. I felt that the DD's worked best, but that was back in the fall when the track would still get dusty.

I'm not so worried about tires and gearing yet (we could tune by temp anyway), I want to get some feedback to see if the guys that already have 4wd's would be intrested in trying to get a little more consistancy in turn-out by making the class less aggressive.

Like I said, we have about 12 racers (that I can think of off the top of my head) that already have 4wd buggies, yet their is no consistant class for 4wd. I want to know if we tuned the class down some to keep the cars more reliable/wear less/easier to drive, if the guys would race them more often. If the class became popular even more people would buy them and race them as well.

As much as people like racing 4wd cars, I just wonder why we have enough racers with cars to fill a class, but we don't.

If a spec gearing becomes a rule then you could purchase a more competitve motor if needed, your sponsor could provide you with equipment that is competitive with the rules, or your sponsor could sponsor the class and maybe their motor could be the spec rule....and of coarse not running the class is an option

I will provide rules based on the intrests of the class in general and the hobbyshop and track - not on individual racers.

[B]Mark do you have a class for the CORR trucks like the AE SC10? I have one that I run with a 27T stock motor.

MAY 29TH (FRIDAY) I WILL HOLD A 1/10TH 2WD NITRO TRUCK TEST RACE INDOORS.

RC10GT's, XXX-NT's - 1/10th only, no 4wd's, no 1/8th scales, no CRT.5's (yet), no monster truck (T-maxx/Revo).

We have been testing a few trucks on the track and it hasn't been that bad, so I want to give it a try. We might not even get enough guys to run an actual race, so it may just be a nitro practice night.
