Questions?? M11 Binding Trouble

Whats up guys. I`ve had my M11 for several months and have binded it several times before with no problems. Tonight I went to re-bind, and nothing. I hold the button on the Rx and turn the ESC power on, hold for two seconds, and it begins to blink slowly. Now, when I hold the Tx button, the Rx light stays the same, it dosent even blink faster. Any ideas on this? I`ve noticed that whenever I have, in the past, turned on my Tx, it takes a few seconds for the DSS Module light to come on. Now it comes on as soon as I power it up. ANY bit help would be sooo greatly appreciated. Thanks guys

Is this a 92724 receiver? I had three of them, all seemed to work fine at first, but the first day a the track, one of them lost bind and nothing would get it to bind after that. The other two worked fine but that one just seemed to give up early on.

That particular receiver must have been jinxed... I sent it to Airtronics for service, but after over a month it came back to me marked "undeliverable" by the post office... it never made it to Airtronics.

I tried sending it to them again, now it's been gone for months, and never got to Airtronics. The post office hasn't been any help in finding out what happened to it...

Did you send it to the old Airtronics address or the new one since Global took them over? They are in Fountain Valley Ca now instead of Anaheim.

Yes it is the 92724 receiver. Whenever I get the chance I`ll go to my LHS and try something else out. I thought I have seen other brand modules in Airtronics radios. Is this possible? If so, what other brands could I try? I`m just very against sending it in to them, not knowing how long I would be without. I`ll trial and error it and see if I can come up with something, if not, I`ll have to send 'er in. Thanks

Yes, I sent it to the address in the instructions for the receiver, which was Global Hobby Distributors in Fountain Valley, CA. Not wure why it couldn't get there in two tries though.

You can run a Spektrum Pro module/receiver combo in your M11, but I'd recommend finding out what is up with your receiver if that's possible. THe Airtronics system does have a quicker response than the Spektrum Pro.

Well, I went to my LHS today and tried a brand new 92724 receiver and nothing. We were going to try another RF Module, but we realized all they had were the brand new M11's. Mine is obviously a little older of a model. Well I`m down to sending it in to Airtronics. Theres some guys on Global Services thats given me an address to send it to. But I`ll let ya`ll know how it goes. Thanks for the help guys

Call Airtronics (Global Services) and speak with Craig. He was very helpful and kept me in the loop the whole time they had my radio/receivers. Turned out my module had gone bad (2.4DSSS) so they replaced my module and three receivers to the FHSS-2 That's good service!

Cool

Well, I sent 'er out to Global earlier this morning. UPS said they should receive it by Friday or so. Hope it wont be too long without it. Put my RTR Rx and Tx in and it friggn SUCKS! Gunna kill me not having my M11. But from what I`m hearing, this is like a freak accident. LHS said they`ve never had any problems like this. Oh well, let you guys know how it all goes.
