it's all about distance travelled...

1 could do 22 laps and not dump all day... or shoot for 23/24 and come very close to dumping.

Apparently, the new 3300's have a shorter positive contact now according to sources in the USA - runtime hasn't been mentioned

From what I have been told, the positive end button is shorter thus helping with fitting in some vehicles (B4 for one)

I can confirm this, I have just recieved a number of these cells. Only the "high voltage" (SCHC- HV) cells have this new design so far though.

New HV 3300 GP

Is it true that they put out 1.2 volts on average. Are approved for the big meets?

I don't know, I haven't tested them yet. Basically I think that they test some in the factory and any that give an average voltage of 1.15 or more are considered "high voltage" The new design might be on the standard cells soon (now?) too. 1.15 doesn't sound like much, but considering they are not zapped and it is their first run, it's not bad, although lots of the standard cells are also +1.15 on their first run.

how about some 3600mah cells ????
are you gunna test some lithium polymer batteries?
8000mah sounds good to me.
probably wont help me too much though, apparently driving technique comes into it

hey mufasa,

I think testing lithium polymer batteries might require investing a fairly substantial amount, I might leave that for the time being.... just focussing on the one thing keeps me busy enough as it is.
