Default M11R issues

Hi there,

Anyone here owns a Sanwa M11R?

I just switched to 2.4ghz. But I have binding issues for my M11R.

It binds to one of my receivers, but cannot bind to the rest. Even went to my local hobby shop to test out all new receivers there, but cannot bind.

Is there a switch or settings which I have to turn off etc?

Thanks for looking and would appreciate anyone's advise on this.

HTere are several different 2.4ghz systems from Sanwa, and they are not all cross compatible. Your M11R is probably the DSSS version, which binds to the receiver that came with it (I'm guessing a 92724) but not your others (I'm guessing they are the 92324, from the MX3FHSS system)

Now there's a new M11 FHSS2 version as well, that uses a 92624 receiver. I don't know what is compatible with it...

I am using a Sanwa module TM-221DS which comes with a Sanwa receiver RX441DS. The module binds with this particular receiver I have.

However, when I purchased an exact same receiver RX 441DS, it has binding issues.

Tried it with 3 other brand new receivers at my local hobby shop as the shop owner was kind enough to let me try them out.

Also cannot bind.

Any idea?

If the ththe second receiver you bought were the only one not to work I'd suspect a defective receiver, I got one from Airtronics that wouldn't bind right from new.

If the three receivers you tried at the shop are also all identical to the one that works, I think it's not likely that you ran across four defective receivers... and I don't know what's going on. If the three at the shop are a different model than your two, then they might be the incompatible FHSS three channel model.

Sounds like a transmitter issue.Since it has no module I wiould send the transmitter back to Sanwa. Also if you plan on using the transmitter in USA not a good idea and 2.4 here and Japan are differnt. The 2.4 for USA is a lot stronger due to possible outside interference issues in USA.Japan version does not have as strong of signal.

Default WOW all of thies M11 PROBLEMS

Wow I am really getting disgusted to hear of all of these M11 troubles. I purchased an M11 over the winter and haven’t really had a chance to use it but for a few minutes. I am about to start racing again this season. I was thinking about a Futaba but went with the Airtronics M11. For one my local hobby shop doesn’t stock the receivers and every time I ask they tell me they are about to order but the parent company has made it difficult. And now I hear that Airtronics doesn't respond to customer service problems. I tried to get an answer about a question I had from them went thru the web site and never herd a word back that was over 3 months ago. It seems I made a bad choice. Is their anyone at the wheel at airtronics or have they thrown in the tow. In this economy making a bad consumer choice really pisses me off.

Actually, my experience with Airtronics was ok.

Wrote them an email and they responded.

Can't say the same for Sanwa, coz maybe there's some language barrier.

The person I dealt with at Airtronics was Craig Kaplan, nice fella.

Use and enjoy your M11, Ive never had any significant issues with my Airtronics gear.
