You have to be the kind of person that someone would want promoting their product. You'll be expected to use their product, promote it to others, and just generally be a helpful person who is pleasant to be around.

I am far from a sponsored R/C racer, but I can't imagine R/C sponsorships are much different than any other sponsorship.

I imagine the only other way would be just to be naturally incredibly talented. I am sure you can get sponsored no matter what kind of person you are if you're faster than diarrhea.

Number one. Spell Sponsors rite. You spelled it sponsers in the title. Little things like that count

Its not all its cracked up to be. Drive what you have and work hard to practice and have fun. Thats really what its all about

Not to shoot you down but im gonna restate the most logical answer to this question that it always said...

"If you have to ask, your probably not ready"

other than that all i can say is represent yourself with a good attitude on and off the track, practice, practice, practice!!, help others around you, and makes some good finishes at bigger races and make up a resume that you can submit to various manufactures/companies that you would like to represent...

Well, if you're going to get that picky, sponsors shouldn't be capitalized.

Here's a fairly decent article that will give you a good idea of what it takes:

I think I win the double whammy award for busting the guy that misspelled GRAMMAR. The guy posts that, and ANOTHER guy backs him up, and then I basically blow the lid off the spelling of the word GRAMMAR. I don't normally toot my own horn, but in this case...

toot toot

Studies have show that people with moustaches are 75% more likely to get "sponsered" than an average hairless Joe.

I was sponsored by traxxas with my T-maxx before the revo started beating every one, then they said buy a revo or your off.

I bought a buggy lol

I just got like a budget of like 100 dollars to spend on rc parts for my maxx. I just had to convince people to buy traxxas
