Default REEDY

Hey all, just a quick question. Made a impulse purchase on batteries today. Seems like I made the right decision but just wanted to be sure.
Reedy 5000mah 35c, will go into a cyclone tc for 17.5 and possibly 13.5 in the future. good decision or not. Now Im trying to come up with a good esc/motor package. Any suggestions and with why you suggested are apperciated.

Thanks
Ron

I have one and it's a nice pack. Only thing I don't like is that the pysical size is bigger than other brands of the same rating, that's minor though. I've run mod and it doesn't even get warm so 17.5 or 13.5 is nothing for this pack.

ESC/motor, you have a ton of options. I'm a Novak guy but Tekin stuff is the smallest out and is adjustable via you PC or laptop. LRP sphere TC is a nice piece (never used one though). The Novak Slyder is an updated GTB with more tuning options, so don't let the name trick you into thinking it's just for drifting. If your on a budget Novak has all there problems fixed with the havoc and it's a good deal at $150.

I was thinking tekin rs pro combo with 17.5 then purchase an additional orion 17.5. Seem like good choices? I only want to buy the spped control once, then get different motors for it. Ive read good things about speed passion anyone with a non-bias opinion?

If I were to be shoping for a BL set-up I would be hard pressed not ot go with the Tekin. I've got 2 SSGTB's, Havoc and an XBR. It's just easier for me when all my stuff uses the same programing.

+1 for Orion motors

Good point Racer, but fully adjustable is good but does the tekin go to far as to be dificult?
I want easy programing so I can concentrate on driving, know what I mean.

Not real sure at what point it becomes too difficult and I've never run a Tekin but I know guys who do and they haven't had any complaints. I would go with the Tekin, Thier motors seem as good as anything else out there so I don't know why you would buy an Orion right away?
