Unlike Holden Who is owned by GM and now Down to One Shift a day Here in Adelaide which is affecting more then just car sales but the whole other shift that is on half pay the opposite week to them working. What they are doing now is Day Shift work one week and Afternoon shift the other week and Making it hard for people like me who are looking for work as there suppliers and other staff are all looking for work too.

It is quite bad here at the moment.

Glad to hear ford is doing ok so far.

Perhaps some new Mini shells may be on display as well. You can only hope. A 225mm Cooper S shell would be a treat.
Calvin.
You missed something in the Tamiya listing Cal..

* 1/10 RC M-05 PRO chassis kit

AND..

* 1/10 RC Mini-Cooper racing (M-05)

Thanks TG. I didn't know what some of the transalations meant.

I might have to order one of each....I think the Pro will be the pick at this stage, until I see some pictures, that might change my mind.

Regards,

Calvin.

And now....the review you've all been waiting for (cue drum roll or trumpet fanfare)..

Finally the WORLD FIRST (as far as we know) drive test of the new HPI Switch FWD Mini chassis.

What's it like? Does it live up to the hype?

As always our unbiased viewpoint.

Check it out HERE now!

Default good review

TFG, spot on and truthful. I had a look and a "feel" last night and the one I saw had all that and more. The "arms" holding the rear suspension in place flex, the gearbox had a sort of bind in it on one spot, the toe in/out was self adjusting over about 4 degrees, etc etc. I was going to get one in Hing Kong next week but I will wait for the OTHER one to be released.
Thanks
BOB

guess this proves one thing..
you cant teach a new dog (HPI) old tricks (M03)

and when you consider the bright side..
thanks to the Switch, there's a new body shell available for the M03

Well, we couldn't leave well enough alone could we.

Keep Dreamin Rick...won't fit an M03. Servo mount will hit the windscreen.

Will fit the upcoming M05 though. Excuse to buy another car!

Default yes it can

Rick, if you take a MO3, turn it arse about, put the steering in the front and lock the back, reverse the motor and hey presto, it will fit. Takes a few hours, has been done by a few at the Hill

George,

go HERE.

About 2/3rds of the way down the page it tells you how to make your friction shocks work passably well.
And you don't have to spend any money.
