If I still had my 2000 Dakota RT that I supercharged and built a killer 360 for I'd run him (dyno'd @ 406 rwhp w/ 16psi of boost!!!!). It would be one hell of a race. I'd have him on the top end once the tires would stop smoking!!!!

LOL I wasn't serious...very hard truck to find in the area...I NEVER see SRT8's in this part of CT...mostly in NYC and Long Island. I didn't have the $12k+ to pony up over my R/T to gain a .5 sec from 0-60. Brembos rock!
Be careful Nick...someones Jeep got broken into last night at the shop!!
I couldn't believe it!
Side note...anyone know where I can find this?

I NEED it bad! LOL

Haha...sorry...I should have mentioned I am not bone stock. Its fast enough for me though...almost SRT8 number but not the displacment. You have to get a 427 stroker in that bad boy! You will never want to drive anything else! I love my car to death...I call it my "ManWagon"

I can not get the info for the jeep srt 8 from the allpar site. The info below is from a road and track test mine is an 2008 model, I don't think it matters.
My personal best 0-60 mph runs are. 4.54 secs traction control on. in auto. and 4.27 traction control reduced(by80%) and in auto stick. Times were measured using a friends escort acelarometer(i think that's what it is called). Personal top speed according to speedometer (probably unreliable) 170mph and only very briefly. Only mods are Catback and cold air intake.
2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8
Curb weight 4805 lb
Engine, transmission 6.1 liter V-8; 5-sp automatic
Horsepower, bhp @ rpm 420 @ 6200
0–60 mph 4.6 sec
0–1320 ft (1/4 mile) 13.2 sec @ 104.1 mph
Top speed est 155 mph
Braking, 60–0 mph 132 ft
Braking, 80–0 mph 230 ft
Brake swept area per ton 264 sq in.
Lateral accel (200-ft skidpad) 0.85g
Speed thru 700-ft slalom 63.5 mph
Our mileage, EPA city/highway 11.2, 12/15 mpg
Towing capacity 3500 lb

I have only done full exhaust, t-stat, predator, 275/20RZintake and I had a custom intake.
I have never taken it to the track and I haven't done anything nuts like a cam but the Predator for tuning is pretty sick...sooo much you can do without alot of bolt ons.
I don't talk smack about my car or anything but it is surprisingly quick and easy to work on. I did all 16 plugs in under 2 hours and it has been very reliable. Sounds great too!
