The starts should be heads up like in real corr racing. If you quilify in first you pic were on the line you start first if you get second you pic second. I think the front line should have 6 trucks and the rest to the second line i love the heads up starts. Freddy you are right it has to stay fun rubbing in that class last week was great and i had a blast. I believe that in 2 weeks we should have a rule meeting at rchr at 1:00 p.m on a saturday if you are there u have a chance you give your ideas if your not then no complaining Raul I didnt mean anything about the team express thing besides to keep are team maral up you know what i mean

Isn't the 11th a Trophy Race??
I'll be there.
How about this, Heads up starts, with the TQer, lined up ahead of the field...
The starts, whatever you guys decide I'm in, as long as we keep it fun

Are we going to start having a slash class at the trophy races now that the class seems to be getting bigger? I am going to see what I can do to make sundays driver race but not sure yet since I work sundays.
Would be cool to have another option at a regular trophy race though.

I think Friday
Both of our slash trucks had those red SMC lipo's in them.
I suppose so, but I would be careful about making that class too serious, and trophy races are the start of getting serious.
I'm going to try to make it down

Anyone have a cheap 2.4ghz like the Losi Slider or 1/18th stuff?
I don't want to run into trouble with impound on the 29th...what are the chances somebody in Spec will have all the crystals like I do? Hmmm
PM me or something...on a budget so no crazy M11 or Helios lolz...
I loved my Losi 2.4ghz form my Desert truck but I might save for a BL Revo 2.4ghz takeoff.
I don't need the bells/whistles, just DR and trims.

Let me just put a little input in for the Slash Bash coming up...everyone can feel free to agree or disagree, I won't take it personally.
Spec should be a class where out of the box a truck is competitive with oil/tuning/settings/radio at the discretion of the driver. As much as I agree lipo is the way to go it is a serious investment that is nearly equal to the price of a truck to get a bit more punch off the line. I don't know how ROAR rules SPEC class but I would say leave the lipos for open class and let the Spec run 6 cells straight up. Open class has soooooo many more variables it supercedes the drivers abilities and becomes a more "who has the most money" kinda thing where BL, lipos, tires/wheels/gearing/endless possibilities can happen. I think Spec should be literally run out of the box stock gearing with NIMH or NICD and again whatever fluids/suspension setting you want. Personally I think I get spanked on Saturdays because of my inexperience at the track and the fact lipos are abound. If I could afford $200 for a basic lipo/charger/ballancer/2 pack setup i would but that's just me. I dunno.
For our Saturday/Wednesday races where it is run what you brung have fun absolutely bring your lipos, 7 cells, gearing, whatever. For true Spec I just think the lipos add the money factor. For the dozen plus noobs showing up literally with a box stock truck they should have a fair shake. Again, my 2 cents. It'll be fine either way.
