Default Which BL mod motor to get?

Can you guys recommend me which Brushless mod motor is good, fast and reliable? I m looking for in a range of 3.5t -4.5t. Will use it in my TRF416 touring car race mostly on carpet as well as outdoor large asphalt track. I ll match it with either Tekin RS Pro or SP GT 2 (havent decide yet). Also i m running 2 cell Lipo.

Thanks in advance for your input.

Its not on your list but I run a Novak 3.5 and been on the same one for over a year with no issues at all and has more power on tap than I need

I ve been looking at that Orion too...its one of the cheapest out there. For those who are running it, is it as good as the others? Speed? Torque?

Performance has no price. Anything cheap..... is well cheap. Save for alittle while and get the best. You'll thank yourself in the long run.

Thanks!

I bought an Orion 4.0, super cheap $60 at my LHS, put it in, made it ten feet and stopped. the plastic fan inside the motor broke off and fouled up the windings, they fixed it under warranty of course but didnt give me a good impression. I have ran LRP motors with good success as well but the Novak motors do seem to have an edge on them.
