hi guys...congratulation to all s'porean racers for being in podium finish...unlucky for me as i cant get d speed tat can match with those guy...in my final even worse as i got hit by other car which my make linkage pop out and i straight bang into d Stone....
i finish 9th in Gmain....wat a day for me....
nice to meet u alvin,p.y & tony neo....
may i know what esc r u guys using ? i'm using sp gt esc but d punch is not good as other racer eventhough i'm using same ratio with them...

I believe most of us were using the LRP Sphere TC Spec. I used the Tamiya Volac version of that esc ... lots of punch. Too bad, driver no good - I ended up in I Main and finished 9th after hitting Car # 1 who stalled at the start.
Anyway, it was lots of fun and I am just about recovered from the exertions

Hi Kschu, nice knowing you too. I think both our local boys and the malaysian team did reasonably well getting drivers into competitive mains in all classes.
Im using the Tamiya Volac esc, punch setting 6. It gave me excellent torque and top speed for the 11.5T motor.
The take away from this trip is good team spirit. Havent experienced such good racing atmosphere for a long long time and I see positive attitude from our guys, notably Gareth, Slim Zikai and Jie ming always wanting more from their cars and never fail to ask questions and learn from each run.
Lets bring this momentum throughout Tamiya asiacup series and we can expect good results in September this year.
