i have to agree with Aussie, these are ballistic, i used mine in race conditions for the first time and have never driven in Pro (only the OS TG is Gas Tourer). with the No. 7 plug it has so much more power than the 6 or the 5. soon to try the engine out with a 2630 pipe and 7fin header. talk about some bottom end.

Hey just a quick question... Who much time do you get out of your engine with the 2630 pipe and the 2601 pipe?? I have no problem with the 2630, i can make 6 min. pretty easily... so if i use the 2601 i should be getting 7 min?????!!!!

You need to give it a bit more gas
With the 2630 i will get 5.05 at best, with the 2604 i'm around 5.25.
When i finish qualifying and i did an extra lap so i finish in 5.16 or something halfway of the in-lap the engine stalls.

these things I have mentioned are very little, but I got nervous.
their production year is 2007.

Can they lead to an issue in future? Im going to use them in nationals this year.

Sorry for bad english...

thanks for the replies.
anyone who experienced these? Im really getting nervous about the engines.

well i would say that there is nothing to worry about. the light scraches are nothing about the bearing well that could be a problem but cxheck it again by hand and with the crankshaft(insert it outside in and rotate) to be more accurate.

also what would you do if we told you if it was not safe?? Please reply to this before starting breaking in the engines.

I would not expect a lot from these, if you would tell me

If the only thing to worry about is bearing, I would show them to some pros around here, and replace it before break-in if its necessary. If the hole engine is crap, I would just use it for training...

in that case break in the engine and if a problem occurs you have a one year guaranty. Take some pictures of the scratches so, i something anusual occurs you will have proff

so how much time do YOU get out of your novarossi engines?? dont be shy now

I dont think that I understood your question, my poor english...
But if I understood it correctly, you mean how long I used my previous novas, correct?

These are my first novarossis Actually Im a new racer.
I used to run Picco JL3s before, but now I want some reliable power.
I wish these engines will last about 2.5-3 gals with same p/s and bearings with top performance.

If the bearing feels gritty, take the engine apart and try to wash the case out completely. Soap and running water to make sure any debris is flushed out. Blow it dry and rinse it in clean fuel and dry it again. See the bearings feel free afterwards. Rinse all the internals in clean fuel and blow them off and assemble the rest of the engine with a light oil coating. Everything should feel good, if not then something may be wrong.

how does the 2604 perform against 2630?
and also between 2604 and 2601?

thanks...

With wide open tracks like 301 your in the the throttle alot!! The 2630 will have run time issues with large flowing tracks, and as a whole uses more fuel. In fact ....it probably uses more fuel that all the other pipes. It also makes alot of power. With smaller tracks where there are a lot of corners and you are in and out of the throttle a lot the 2630 may make runtime more easily, but it still will have less run-time than some of the above mentioned pipes.
