Default lipo question

I just recently purchased some lipo's off of ebay. (4) 11.1v 4000 mah 10c/15c.
I did not pay attention to the c rating for some reason and so now I realize they are not capable of discharging fast enough to run most 10th scale brushless setups. I decided to turn my 3s 1p batteries into a couple of 3s 2 p batteries which will double my capacity and keep the voltage the same. I tested this setup in a friends vxl and it seemed to work well. The car was lightning fast even though that battery weighs a ton. I guess my question is does that make my c rating now double? The vxl only requires 60-100 amps to work properly but my other setup which currently is back at losi for the fourth time (losi 4800kv brushless) requires a minimum of 100 amps. Will this battery adequately supply the losi setup? Sorry for all of the grammar mistakes!

No, it doesn't increase your C rating. But it does increase your current capability, because of the increase in capacity.

The battery was getting warm/hot in its original form i assumed because it was discharging too fast. the new setup does not do this so I assumed the c rating has to be higher?

thank you! Now that I know what I have what do you think about its application. I guess I am stuck with these hong kong specials and I was going to try and make them work if possible.

Anyone have an idea if this is going to work in losi 4800?
