REEDY .21 Nitro Engine

I live in Arizona and see the motor run two times a week. The motor just wont run in STOCK trim like the motors they want it to run like. In Richard Saxton trim it might go 11min. I am not saying the motor is going to be bad, because it's not. Just before you run out and get one, let some one else try it first.

I think the guys are going back to the Worlds and the fuel mileage that they saw from Ryan M. REEDY Engine.
The problem is that the race was bak in September and the Team has been doing a ton of R & D. I am sure the King , Ryan, Brent , and Rick have al been testing different things to bring us the best engine out there.
I also know that IFMAR rules are different when it comes to the size of the tank. I am sure Ryan can go longer than 7 minutes now.
Ryan is great driver and to do so well with a new engine at the Worlds was awsome.
Just hang in there guys it will be worth the wait.

I am not sure I follow the trim part of your statement.

LMMFAO..................oh god i'm still laughing, thanks man that caught me off gaurd!!!!
this is one engine i'm keen to have a run with, and if they take there time to release it cos they want to get it right then happy days to Reedy for making the effort to get it right.
besides i would rather read "when is it coming out" than "Reedy recall engines"

Hey Guys,
I think we are all hoping for the same thing and that is a dependable engine that does not break the bank.
I have seen the Worlds DVD and Brent knew what fuel stops he needed for Ryan M. because of his driving style. Also if you also look at the gearing that Ryan M. used you will see that the 16/46 gives a ton of punch. The punch that Ryan likes on his RC8 might not be the feel you and I want with our RC8. With that being said the engine might get better fuel milage than we saw at the Worlds. This in no means takes anything away from Ryan M. , I wish I could drive half as good he does in his sleep LOL.
I also know that the Team has made some changes from the Worlds to allow the engine to tune easier. There is more but that is all I am saying.
My point is this do not judge the engine on one driver judge it on the name that Reedy has built over the years.

Hey Guys,
As most of you know the Midwest Nitro Championship race was held this past weekend and the Reedy engine did a great job with several new racers using it in their Buggies an Truggies.
The Reedy engine powered 3 drivers into the A Main in Buggy and 2 into the A Main of Truggy.
Ryan Maifield finished 2nd in both classes with his Reedy powered RC8/RC8T
J.R. Mitch finished 7th in both classes with his Reedy powered RC8/RC8T
And AE top Race Reporter and Team Manager Brent Thielke finished 9th in the Buggy A main with his Reedy powered RC8.
I hope this is a sign that engine can run withe the big boyz and that it will be released soon

Maifield said in his interview on liverc.com that he ran production engines and that he expected them to be available around March. I forget how long he said he was getting per tank but it wasnt bad at all. He said it was very smooth and powerful and compared it to the OS Speed.
Someone I know who was at the race said Maifield is strapped everywhere and constantly ripping the throttle and Tebo was so smooth you couldnt even hear his engine run. I dont think they pitted that far apart.
