has anyone heard anything more about this eng or possible release date, would love to get one for summer

that makes two of us.. i keep hearing it is close but i have no eta?

I was told as soon as they can get over 7min on a tank of fuel

there still trying stuff with the motor from what i heard.. they are trying to get run time up to par with some of the other motors...

id rather they didnt just rush it to get it out on the market but if it isnt out by april ill have to find something else

i agree... i heard they are still testing different combinations trying to find the best one

actually i hope other manufacturers pic up the bolted carb desighn i really like that

I think the REEDY engine will be fine with the fuel. I know Rick said he could go the distance, so do not worry.

As for the release date I think we are looking at least another month or two. As some of you had posted AE/REEDY should not rush the engine and I am sure they will not. Their track record for putting out good products is top notch and they will not rush such important product.

7min is nothing spectacular. i get 9min a tank with my Nova BF and my friend gets 13 with his V-spec turbo.....yes....13.

how does everyone know they are only getting 7 minutes? i have never seen that posted or stated. there are many variables that factor in to fuel mileage

I think the guys are going back to the Worlds and the fuel mileage that they saw from Ryan M. REEDY Engine.

The problem is that the race was bak in September and the Team has been doing a ton of R & D. I am sure the King , Ryan, Brent , and Rick have al been testing different things to bring us the best engine out there.

I also know that IFMAR rules are different when it comes to the size of the tank. I am sure Ryan can go longer than 7 minutes now.


Ryan is great driver and to do so well with a new engine at the Worlds was awsome.

Just hang in there guys it will be worth the wait.

Dont believe the fuel mileage excuses. The motor can go 11 minutes, i have seen saxton do it a few times.

thats where i got it from. yea i guess no one posted it...just this guy.
