RtR ntc3
I have been racing my rtr ntc3 for a few years, and I have never done any upgrades to it other than my radio. I would like to be more competitive when racing against Serpent and Mugents, so what would be some upgrades that you would suggest.

get you some threaded shocks and a spring kit. A good digital servo could help to. A 2 speed tranny if you dont already have one.A ceramic bearing set.By the way the main differences from the FT kit and the rtr kit is lighter carbon fiber parts and the blue anodized adjustable shocks.
I still have a NTC3 that i run dirt oval with but from what I understand you will have to be on your game to run with the more updated touring cars on asphalt.
good luck!!

ntc3
i use to run the ntc3, if you have a good set up you can run a descent lap.
the reason i switched car was that the ntc3 isn't very tough. if you bump the wall very lightly you could break something easily. i think that in the long run getting a different kit would be better and cheaper then mantaing the ntc3

I raced that car for a couple of seasons. The placement of the engine and shape of the exhaust really hurts performance.(super long header) I never got use to the car becomeing unbalanced when the fuel load burnt off. When the tank is fuel its pretty close to the same weight on both sides. Inever touched a wall or barrier that didnt break something. I think I went through 10 exhaust pipes, the stinger sticks out way past the front tire. I would find a good used belt drive car.
